Professionals such as doctors, dentists or lawyers need to pass government-approved examinations to get licenses to practice their crafts. Such a process will keep shamans out, and the real McCoys in. There’s no government regulation on licensing for IT professionals, but Certification is good proof that you have the relevant skills and knowledge for specific IT roles.
Enter the world of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) community with NetAssist. We’ve helped many companies and individuals achieve their business and career goals through Microsoft Certification exams. When you pass your first Microsoft Certification exam, you become a member of the MCP community with access to all of the benefits provided through the Microsoft Certification Program and the MCP member site. Microsoft Certification can also help you fulfill your degree-aspirations, as the American Council on Education (ACE) has recommended university credit for several Microsoft Certifications.
“Our trainer, Anugerah, covered all the topics clearly and introduced many additional tools and methods that would be useful in real-life situations. He managed to answer every question the students asked him, regardless of whether it was related to the course material… I think the course was of great value… It covered the major items required for an understanding of the subject. I found it useful to go back and refer to the course materials as I developed a solution for my company,” Daniel commented.
We are happy for Daniel that he was able to apply his new-found skills immediately at his workplace. He managed to develop and deploy an internal application for his company in just a week. Next, he is planning to re-design his company’s existing applications to be more efficient and organised with the new features in ASP.Net MVC4.
Daniel has kind words for our admin staff too. “They remembered that I hadn’t taken my exam for a previous module and reminded me of it. Although I was aware of the upcoming exam, it was nice to get a personal reminder… When I registered for the exam, they sorted the booking out for me within the same day,” he said.
Another client of ours, Xenetix Pte Ltd, boosted the company’s ability to take on new business through getting their staff certified. Xenetix is a Fuji-Xerox partner offering networked multifunction printing devices and peripherals to clients. Three engineers from Xenetix took the “Client Pathway” towards getting Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification. This will enable Xenetix to provide clients with one-stop Office Automation and Network services from installation to support for Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and Exchange messaging platform.
“We chose NetAssist because we heard good things about it. To date, our engineers have completed the modules for supporting Microsoft Windows Server. They liked the classes at NetAssist, so we’ll be sending them again for the module on Exchange soon. We are looking forward to launch our new IT services in Jan 2015, after our engineers complete the classes and the exams,” said Mr. Ian Wee, Director at Xenetix Pte Ltd.
One of the trainees from Xenetix, Mr Alain Kirvy Libunao, Senior IT Field Engineer, said, “I found the course content useful and relevant for my work as an engineeer in IT services. Our trainer was pretty detailed in explaining the course materials. And I’m thankful for the admin staff for their help too. Once I finished the class, I received study materials… sort of a summary… on what I need to review for my exams. The facilities there were good as well.”
We at NetAssist are glad to be of help. Daniel has this advice for other IT professionals: Knowledge is Power. Keep learning. Find out more about our courses at https://www.netassist.com.sg/ and empower yourself further.
